Legal Statement Agreement

Job seekers for positions at YRC Worldwide Inc. companies (“the Company”) are screened for illegal drugs and alcohol. An investigation into a job seeker’s background, including a check of previous employment and criminal record will also be conducted. All job seekers for positions at YRC Worldwide Inc. companies must agree to resolve all disputes, claims or controversies arising out of, or related to, their submission for employment, employment or the cessation of their employment exclusively by final and binding arbitration.

Job seekers for some positions may be required to pass position-specific tests, including a physical ability test. In addition, applicants for some positions will be required to pass a physical examination if a contingent offer of employment is made by the Company.

Failure of any of these pre-employment tests or negative information obtained by means of a background investigation will result in a job seekers disqualification from hire. Furthermore, furnishing information which is found to be false in any respect or omitting unfavorable information, is grounds for a job seeker’s disqualification from hire or for an employee’s discharge at any time during employment.
