Job Summary: 

 
The position of Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading the team on the designated shift in all aspects of distribution, including: loading shipments, unloading shipments, inventory accuracy, quality processes, timeliness of execution, employee performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct employee reviews, design task assignments, and participate on cross functional teams to drive continuous improvement.  
2. Demonstrate sound leadership principles.  
3. Provide paramount customer service that is conducive to a long term relationship with a high profile customer. 
4. Excellent customer service includes maintaining an open honest relationship with the site customer and operating in a professional manner that represents both the customer and company’s best interest.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, international transportation and logistics, or related degree.
2. 3-5 years experience in Operations, preferably in a warehouse or LTL environment.
3. Working knowledge of all aspects of daily operation from front office to warehouse. 
4. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. 
5. Ability to work with a variety of different organizational functions, including the local office, local management, regional management, and the corporate office.
6. Desire to help grow an already profitable logistics company.
7. Some travel may be required.
